AegisGate Security, LLC
Last Updated: July 29, 2026
1. Our Commitment to Accessibility
AegisGate Security, LLC (“AegisGate,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to ensuring that our digital products and services are accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities. We believe that accessible design benefits everyone and that equal access to information and technology is a fundamental right.
We strive to make our website, applications, and documentation perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users, in accordance with the principles outlined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Our target conformance level is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we are actively working toward achieving and maintaining this standard across all of our digital properties.
2. Current Conformance Status
AegisGate makes its best effort to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA across all public-facing digital properties, including our corporate website, product documentation, and customer-facing applications.
Current status: We are working toward full conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Our digital properties have not yet undergone a formal third-party accessibility audit. We are committed to conducting a comprehensive accessibility audit by Q4 2026 and addressing any identified gaps promptly.
Until formal audit results are available, we apply accessibility best practices and perform ongoing internal reviews to identify and remediate barriers to the best of our ability.
3. Measures Taken
We have implemented the following measures to promote accessibility across our digital properties:
3.1 Semantic HTML
We use semantically correct HTML markup to ensure that content is properly structured and can be interpreted by assistive technologies, including screen readers and other adaptive devices.
3.2 Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements on our website and applications are fully operable using keyboard-only navigation. We ensure a logical tab order and visible focus indicators throughout our interfaces.
3.3 ARIA Labels
We use Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) attributes where native HTML semantics are insufficient, providing appropriate labels, roles, and descriptions for custom widgets and dynamic content.
3.4 Sufficient Color Contrast
We design our interfaces to meet or exceed the minimum color contrast ratios specified in WCAG 2.1 Success Criteria 1.4.3 (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text), ensuring that text and interactive elements are distinguishable for users with low vision or color vision deficiencies.
3.5 Responsive Design
Our website and applications are designed to be responsive, ensuring usability across a range of devices, screen sizes, and orientations, including when users employ screen magnification or zoom features.
3.6 Alt Text for Images
All meaningful images on our digital properties include descriptive alternative text (alt text) that conveys the purpose and content of the image. Decorative images are marked with null alt attributes to be ignored by assistive technologies.
3.7 Additional Measures
- Form fields are associated with explicit labels and instructions.
- Error messages are descriptive and programmatically associated with the relevant form fields.
- Content is written in clear, plain language.
- Links and buttons have descriptive text that makes sense out of context.
- Documents available for download are provided in accessible formats wherever possible.
- Video content includes captions where applicable.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some accessibility limitations may currently exist. We are actively working to address the following known issues:
| Limitation | Description | Target Remediation |
|---|---|---|
| Third-party integrations | Certain embedded third-party content or tools may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, including some interactive widgets and externally hosted documents. | Q4 2026 — We are working with third-party vendors to improve accessibility or identifying accessible alternatives. |
| Legacy documentation | Some older technical documentation and PDF files may not be fully accessible to assistive technologies. | Q1 2027 — We are systematically reviewing and updating legacy documents to accessible formats. |
| Interactive data visualizations | Complex data visualizations and dashboards may present challenges for screen reader users. | Q3 2026 — We are implementing alternative data representations and ARIA descriptions for interactive charts. |
| Mobile application | Our mobile application is still in active development and has not yet been fully evaluated for accessibility conformance. | Q4 2026 — Accessibility review and remediation are included in the mobile release roadmap. |
If you encounter an accessibility barrier that is not listed above, please contact us using the information provided in Section 6 below.

AegisGate aligns its accessibility efforts with Section 508 standards, particularly the Section 508 refresh that incorporated WCAG 2.0 Level AA as the baseline standard.
7.4 EN 301 549
EN 301 549 is the European standard for accessibility requirements for ICT products and services. AegisGate uses EN 301 549 as a reference framework for ensuring that our products and services meet European accessibility requirements, including those mandated by the EU Accessibility Act.
8. Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time achievement. AegisGate will continue to:
- Conduct regular internal accessibility reviews and testing
- Engage with users with disabilities to gather feedback
- Integrate accessibility into our design and development processes
- Monitor updates to WCAG guidelines and applicable accessibility legislation
- Pursue formal third-party accessibility auditing
- Remediate identified accessibility barriers in a timely manner
This Accessibility Statement will be reviewed and updated at least annually, or more frequently as our accessibility practices evolve.
