Customer Portal

The AegisGate Customer Portal is a self-service web application for managing your organization’s account, viewing usage metrics, accessing invoices, and downloading compliance documents. The portal runs as a companion service alongside the main AegisGate platform.

Architecture

The Customer Portal is a lightweight Go HTTP server that provides:

Profile management — Organization details, plan information, and renewal dates
License information — Current tier, feature access, and expiration status
Subscription management — Billing details, payment methods, and next billing date
Usage analytics — API and MCP request counts against tier caps
Invoice access — Download past invoices and receipts
Compliance documents — BAA, DPA, and SOC2 reports

Quick Start

# Run the Customer Portal (defaults to port 8081)
go run cmd/customer-portal/main.go

# With custom configuration

API Reference

All endpoints return JSON responses. The portal runs on port 8081 by default.

Security

The Customer Portal includes built-in security hardening:

Read/Write/Idle timeouts — 15s read, 15s write, 60s idle (prevents slow-loris attacks)
JSON-only responses — All endpoints return application/json with proper status codes
No template rendering — Pure API surface, no XSS attack surface
CORS protection — Configurable AllowedOrigins restricts cross-origin access
